In January, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn A. Murray announced in a press release that Keevin David, 20, was convicted of murdering Tyrell Coleman, 18, of Orange. The trial lasted four-days and the jury ultimately returned a guilty verdict.  The sentencing was scheduled for today.  The Star-Ledger broke the news this afternoon that David was sentenced to 55 years in prison.  He faced 30 years to life.
