Springfield Recreation Department Movie Night

The Springfield Recreation Department is showing “Despicable Me” at the Springfield Community Pool on Sunday, August 11 at 8 p.m.  Members of the pool can enter for free but must show their pool identification.  Non-members of the pool will be charged $5 per person.

With the sequel, “Despicable Me 2″, playing in theaters now, the evening offers a great opportunity for families to catch up or get a refresher on the plot of the computer-animated comedy.  On IMDB, the 2010 film garnered a rating of 7.6 out of 10 and starred Steve Carrell, Jason Segel and Russel Brand.
