A rundown of Temple Beth Ahm Yisrael events for the month of November has been released and they have been listed on the Springfielder.com Community Calendar.

On Friday, November 8th at 8:00 p.m., join Robert Stevens for a Kristallnach Commemoration and Program.  “We are all linked to the Holocaust regardless of race, religion, or ethnicity. Robert Stevens, creator of the nonprofit networking website, “I Am A LINK” is a “younger” second-generation child of Holocaust survivors. He will share the story on how he solved his family’s mystery and reunited with the relatives lost during the Shoah. He will introduce his non-profit website project, www.iamalink.com, which is being used to help other separated families like his discover and reconnect.”

On Friday, November 15th at 6:30 p.m., there will be a “Kids’ Kabbalat Shabbat Service” – an enjoyable, musical and active service for families with preschool age children.

The regular monthly “Torah on Tap” Men’s Study Group will be on Thursday, November 21st at 7:45 p.m.  No prior experience is necessary but you are recommended to come with “a thirst for knowledge and a taste for microbrews.”  There is no charge to attend and everyone is welcome.

In the spirit and celebration of Hanukkah, Women’s League invites you to join them for an evening of food and fun as they sample latkes and vodka beverages on Thursday, November 21st at 8:00 p.m.  R.S.V.P. by November 15th to publicword@aol.com or twinfam@verizon.net.  There is a $10 per person charge.

The Springfield Interfaith Clergy Association has scheduled the Annual Thanksgiving Community Service for Monday, November 25th at 8:00 p.m.  This year, it will be hosted by Saint James Church.  It is requested that monetary contributions be made to the Springfield First Aid Squad and package goods to the NJ Food Bank.
