FMG PTA Pocketbook Bingo 2013

FMG PTA Pocketbook Bingo 2013

Springfield’s Florence M. Gaudineer Middle School Parent Teacher Association, chaired by Mary Jo Campos, has scheduled an exciting fundraiser to help purchase a new marquee board for the school.  On Friday, March 28th between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. in the Gaudineer cafeteria, they will host their first ever “Pocketbook Bingo”.  It has been listed on the Springfielder.com Community Calendar.

The fundraiser makes for a great “ladies night out” and they are encouraging the community to come and bring friends and family for a chance to win very nice name brand pocketbooks.  Gaudineer PTA mom Laura Delia commented, “We thought that we would include the whole community because we believe the whole community makes our schools what they are today.  We would love to sell this event out to help us finish collecting the funds needed to purchase a much needed new marquee for Gaudineer.”

The doors open for seating at 6:30 p.m. and the cost is only $20 per person to play in approximately 10 games for a chance to win.  Coffee and dessert will be served during the event and additional bingo boards can be purchased that night.  Anyone interested in purchasing tickets is asked to contact Mary Jo Campos at ashjen325@gmail.com

The PTA is also still welcoming additional donations to purchase the pocketbooks.  If companies or individuals purchase a pocketbook for donation or give money towards the purchase of a pocketbook, the PTA would offer advertising or recognition at the event.
